Cavansite is a gorgeous rare mineral named after its chemical composition: Calcium (CA), Vanadium (V) and Silicate (Si). This bold blue mineral forms both prismatic crystals and rosettes, and are usually found on other zeolite minerals such as Stilbite and Apophyllite. First found in Oregon in 1967, it has since been found in Poona, India, Brazil and New Zealand.
