Dalmatian Jasper (not a true Jasper) has a pale base in beige, cream or light brown tones, and contains many inclusions of a dark mineral called arfvedsonite which gives this stone its dalmatian-like appearance. This stone is often dyed with brighter colours, to give it a different look, such as blue, purple, or red.
